L'elisir d'amore

Donizetti's romantic comedy about the hapless, shy Nemorino  who is madly in love with the beautiful, proud Adina. All turns to comic disaster when Adina falls for the attractive Belcore.. But Nemorino has one last hope. A fake doctor - Dulcamara - offers to sell him a magic drink that will make him irresistible to women......will Nemorino take the plunge and allow magic to help him win Adina's love ?

The young UK director Harry Fehr directed  along with Danish conductor Per-Otto Johansson team up for their debuts at Den Jyske Opera to produce a funny and romantic take on this romantic classic.
